Lanark Tennis Club is a community club with 2 all-weather synthetic grass courts (both of which are flood lit). The courts were newly installed in November 2020. This follwed a project completed in 2019 - an amazing, brand new clubhouse and groundworks for the members to enjoy - a combined £200k project that is the result of fundrarising, donations, sponsorship and funding awards….and a lot of hard work!

Membership

Becoming a member of Lanark Tennis Club gives you access to our courts, club sessions, league teams and social events throughout the season. We offer membership options for adults, juniors, students and families, making it easy to get involved and become part of our friendly tennis community. On becoming a member at Lanark Tennis Club, you will be given the code to access the courts and the Clubhouse.

Social Tennis

Social tennis is at the heart of our club. Our organised sessions provide relaxed, friendly match play for members who want to enjoy the game without the pressure of competition. It is a great way to meet other players, stay active and be part of the club’s welcoming atmosphere.

Adult Coaching

Whether you are new to tennis, returning after a break or looking to improve your match play, our adult coaching sessions are designed to help you progress. We offer structured, welcoming sessions that focus on technique, tactics and confidence, giving players the opportunity to develop their game at a level that suits them.

Junior Tennis

Our junior coaching programme provides fun, structured group coaching sessions for children from Primary 1 upwards. From complete beginners to performance players, we focus on developing skills, confidence and a love for the game in a supportive environment. With clear progression pathways and experienced coaching, we help young players grow their skills and confidence on and off the court.

West of Scotland Competitive Tennis

Lanark Tennis Club competes in the West of Scotland leagues at both adult and junior level, offering players the opportunity to represent the club in structured, competitive match play. Our ladies and gents teams compete regularly throughout the season, while our junior players gain valuable experience through regional team events and competitions. Competitive tennis at Lanark provides a pathway for those looking to challenge themselves, develop match confidence and be part of a committed, supportive team environment.
