Lanark Tennis Club junior Jessica Hoey has made an outstanding start to the year, picking up a string of impressive results and showing fantastic form on court.
Jessica’s highlight so far came at Chatsworth, where she won the 12U Grade 4 tournament, taking gold with a confident performance in the final, winning 4–0, 4–2. It marks her first title of the year and a well-earned reward for her hard work and commitment.
Her success doesn’t stop there. Two weekends earlier, Jessica claimed silver at Kirkhill, followed by another silver medal in a 14U event in St Andrews last weekend. Competing up an age group and still reaching the final is a brilliant achievement and underlines just how strong her start to the season has been.
It’s been a fantastic few weeks for Jessica, and everyone at Lanark Tennis Club is proud to see her continuing to progress, compete, and enjoy her tennis. Well done, Jessica — a brilliant start to the year and plenty more to look forward to! 🎾🥇
