August 22nd 2022 was a great day for Lanark Tennis Club and the community. Our members raised £1000 in our recent Crowd Funding appeal which allowed us to get this up and running!
The unit is on the Chapland Road side of the fence so it is available for the rest of the community. Members have been issued with the code, but it is also registered with the Scottish Ambulance Service so if anyone dials 999, Scottish Ambulance will give the cabinet code for defibrillator access.
The model provides real-time feedback to guide rescuers in delivering high-quality CPR. The enhanced features of ZOLL AED 3 will give users the confidence and the knowledge needed to treat a Sudden Cardiac Arrest.
The Zoll AED 3 enhanced features include Real CPR Help, integrated paediatric rescue, WiFi connectivity, and a touch-screen display.
We will continue to hope this is never used!
