A huge thank you and well done to all members who have taken part in the 2026 Club Championships. Once again this year, there has been great tennis on display and there have been many exciting matches. Congratulations to those who have made this year's finals, and good luck to those who still have semi-finals to play!
This note has been produced to provide information for participants and spectators regarding all events taking place on Finals Day - Saturday 19th September.
Timings (subject to change on the day) are expected to be as follows:
Gents Singles and Ladies Singles - 10am
Ladies Doubles and Gents Plate - 12 noon
Gents Doubles and Mixed Doubles - 2pm
Spectators are very welcome. We recommend that spectators bring their own food and refreshments on the day.
Match Rules & Regulations for the matches will follow the previous rounds, namely:
Each match will be played to the best of 3 sets (a player/team needs to win 2 sets to win the match).
The right to be server or receiver or the choice of ends is decided by tossing a coin or spinning a racket.
In the event of players being tied at 6 games all in set 1 or 2, a tie break should be played to 7 points. At 6 games all in the deciding set, a tie break should be played to 10 points.
The Club will make available new Dunlop Fort tennis balls for all matches.
